EZSELLUSA Store 1991 Mustang GT LX Convertible Red Ground Effects 5 Speed 5.0 Liter Original Description It was a dreary, wet early May Saturday in 1994 when my wife and I came across my dream car at a dealer in a small town just outside of Madison Wisconsin. I found out from the salesman that the original owner’s brother worked at the dealership and the following Tuesday when I picked up the car I was able to talk to him. The owner was in the Reserves and was called to duty during Desert Storm. While overseas he made two important decisions; the first was to have his brother back home order him a new Mustang GT and the other was to enlist full-time in the military. After returning home he took his Mustang to Arizona for nine months of training before returning home for leave. He then flew to his permanent duty station in Washington State, bought a truck, married the woman of his dreams and decided to sell the Mustang for a down payment on a house. I came along the same day the car was placed on the lot and bought it with less than 10K miles on it. About a week after bringing the car home I received a package from the brother with the original window sticker and other papers. I have kept the car original except for a CD player. I still have the original AM/FM cassette player and it will go with the car when sold. The car has been placed in storage the end of October and taken out in May ever since I have owned it. There are just two repairs that I have had to do. The first was to replace the back window in the top due to the canvass pealing away from the glass and yes the replacement has a glass window. The second was to repaint the entire car professionally. It now has two coats of clear over the original factory color. The car has never been in an accident and has very few flaws. Although it was painted and had the back window panel replaced, there are three small chips on the front of the hood and the remaining section of the top is beginning to show wear, but does not leak. The AC hasn’t worked since I bought the car and was never an issue for me. The reason for selling is two-fold, I’m in my late 50’s and my wife and I are down sizing to get ready for retirement. It’s been a great car, but we haven’t driven it much over the past 3 years and it’s time to move on. Happy bidding! The shipping is calculated by eBay after we provide to them the weight and size of the shipping box, if the calculations seem high let us know and we will be happy to check it out to be sure that it is correct.  International buyers please note we will not falsify Customs form in anyway, so please do not ask us to.  Local pickups at our Dubuque, Iowa office are always welcome please note Iowa Sales tax will be collected and we have a $3.00 invoice processing charge, applies to 1 or multiple auctons just one $3.00 charge picked up on the same invoice.  Terms of Sale Please note that we offer returns on items that do not meet your expectations. Request for returns must be made within 3 days of you receiving the item, and the item must be shipped back to us by the end of the 7th day of the receipt of the item to you. Return shipping is the responsibility of you the buyer.
