Vehicle Detail
2005 Dodge Ram 2500 SLT - Diesel - 6 Spd. Manual - Quad Cab - Short Bed - 60,355 miles I have for sale a very nice 2005 Dodge Ram 2500 SLT - Diesel - Quad Cab - Short Bed - "Lone Star Edition", black on black/charcoal , Cummins Diesel, 6-speed Manual Transmission, AM-FM/CD stereo, power seats-windows-locks, cruise control, trailer towing package. (Not 4-Wheel Drive) The truck has only 60,355 miles. If you are looking for a 6 Spd. manual trans Dodge diesel truck, you know these are hard to find. I am the original owner, non-smoker, and have maintained it very well. The truck has received oil (Rotella) and filter changes, and lube job, every 3000 to 3500 miles rather than the present recommendations of 5000 miles. I estimate that the tires (all-terrain tread) have approximately 80% tread remaining. The truck has a tool box and bed liner. It also has a nice "Hide-Away" Goose-neck trailer hitch. I have only pulled a goose-neck trailer two times and the trailer was empty. I have pulled my bumper hitch 14' trailer approximately fifteen times. I say this to say that the truck has had very little work use. Quick sell Price: $17,500.00 Kelly Blue Book price: 2005 Dodge Ram 2500 Quad Cab SLT Pickup 4D 6 1/4 ft | 60355 Miles | Good Condition Current Blue Book® Private Party Value: $22,145.00 I am pricing this one owner low mileage Dodge diesel truck at a price several thousand dollars below book value for quick sell and due to one single issue. The only issue the truck has is the air conditioner is not blowing cold air in the cab. I have had it checked out and the problem appears to be that the air direction door inside the air conditioner cab unit is not moving so that it channel's the air flow through the cooling coil. This door is controlled by a small DC motor that obviously is not working. The compressor and other refrigeration related items appear to be working fine. A Dodge dealership Service Manager told me the repair would cost between $200 and $500. I do not presently have the funds for the repair but offer an option below that may be of interest to those who would be financing the truck purchase. The reserve selling price of my truck is $17,500.00. If the final buyer wants to include funds in their financing for the air conditioner repair I will show the selling price as $18,000.00 and after I have received that payment amount (Transaction will take place at my bank), and the funds are in my bank, I will refund $500.00 cash to go towards the air conditioner repair. Otherwise, the purchase transaction will be for $17,500.00 and the buyer can deal with the AC repair cost as they wish. If you are a mechanic, or know one, you may be able to make the repair for a fraction of the amount I was quoted by the Dodge dealership. This is a steal for anyone in the market for a like new, low mileage, Dodge diesel pick-up truck. If it were not for economical financial issues I would never sell this truck! Thank you, Rick
