From the factor……………..1966 Chevelle SS 396 hard top (66-13817), number 160 from the Atlanta Georgia plant. Body color is Regal Red (R-R) with black buck seats (763-3). This Chevelle originally had a 4 speed manual and still has the clutch pedal and brake set up. The current transmission is a TCI 2 speed power glide. Glass is complete with no cracks and had the windshield replace recently by the previous owner. The sheet metal is original but is missing the hood. There is an old style fiberglass hood that will go with the car. The body is very solid with the floors, lower doors, and fender wells intact. There is rust behind the rear wheels and lower fenders. This was covered by poor body work. This car is by no means a rust bucket but does need paint and body work. Please see the pictures. The pictures were taking within the last few month at the oldest. The build……………… This Chevelle was build to be a 10-11 seconds car. Motor is a strong running 454 .30 over , .555 cam, AER 750 carb, MSD ignition, Hooker headers, TCI 2 speed Power glide, B&M ratcheting shifter, 4 link Strange Axle with 456 gears, Moroso fuel cooler, electric fuel pump, fuel cell, electric shut off, 8 point roll bar, (1) 5 point seat belts, race buck seats. I also have a new carbon fiber dash kit and simpson race gloves that will go with the car. I bought this car in Florida and had it shipped to Michigan to finish into a pro street. I work out of state with the military and only get home every few weekends. The car sits in my garage in Greenville Michigan (48838). As you can see this car looks amazing at 15 feet. As stated above the car needs work. It has the stock wiring system, steering, and Breaks. It is set up to go fast on a straight track. The last time I was home the fuel pump was not getting power. I didn’t have time to work on it, but I will make sure the buyer is confident about the motor and the overall transaction.
