A REAL HEAD-TURNER for a 20 YEAR OLD CAR!!! Here's an opportunity to score one of The Most Desirable BMW's on the Open Market...a 1992 318iC E30 Body Type/Style, 5-Speed Manual, Rear-wheel drive, 1.8L Engine. Alpine White with Dark Brown Top and Tan Leatherette Interior. This vehicle is only 2 owners...the orginal from 92-94 and myself from 1994 until present (I bought from local dealership in Spring of 1994 w/22K miles on it-and HAD the extended warranty on it from that early point). This is a California Car! This vehicle was/is maintained & "Babied" VERY WELL over the course of its' life...so far...AND basically 2 mechanics/mechanic workshops for scheduled maintenance & repairs and have alot of the receipts dating all the way back to 1994. NO accidents! Only got 1 or 2 tickets (its' whole life!). Non-Smoker! Power windows. A/C blows cold! Oil changed every 3K-4K miles. Tires rotated every 5k miles. Has all original (OEM) BMW components: top, windows and front windshield-always. ALL Keys ARE present (2 ignition/door keys, 1 non-fob key, 1 valet key, along with 2 Alpine Remote Alarm Fobs). ALL owners' manuals, service booklets/pamplets, tape (audio owners manual) and gray housing folder. Features: BMW Anti-Theft CD-ready radio (with codes) and Prestige by Audiovox P-185 10 Disc Cd Changer in trunk (not currently working...fuse? is wired for use). Car rides super smooth on Michelin Pilot P205 50R/15 84H M&S XGT H4 Tires outfitted with sweet "race-style" Fittipaldi custom rims. Gas & Insurance saver: car gets lowish 20's (21-23) city and upper 20's highway (almost 30 mpg straight freeway). Car had been covered &/or garaged a good 2/3 of its life-and it shows. Clear Title in hand and ready to transfer to "new" owner! Car registered til May 2012. YES, THIS CAR IS EQUIPPED WITH IT'S ORIGINAL ENGINE!!! Clean start and smooth running MOST EXCELLENT!!! Very well maintained it's WHOLE LIFE...always well cared for. ALL THE WORKS: ***All new belts 7K miles ago. ***Passed smog on 5/9/10 for CA DMV Registration. ***Front windshield chips/pits professionally sealed/filled 7K miles ago by Safelite Autoglass. ***Rear shocks, rear shock boot, sway bar links 10K miles ago. ***All new tires mounted & balanced 10K miles ago. ***All new A/C complete system: safety pressure switch, expansion valve, retrofit kit, receiver dryer, a/c freon, a/c oil & a/c pressure hose in 2009. ***New alternator & New Interstate Battery 24K ago in Aug. '08. ***Axel seal, water pump, chain tensioner, intake boot, rubber bearing, front brake pad, front brake rotors, brake sensor, head gasket set, head bolt set, air hose connection elbow, idle control hose, water hose, breather hose. AND front brake pad & rotors replaced both sides. AND transmission axle seal replaced. AND head gasket replaced & clean valve set. ALL 39K ago in Aug. '07. ***Antenna motor assembly replaced in Feb. '07. ***Lower oil pan & gasket replaced. AND upper timing chain cover gasket replaced in July '07. ***Front strut case mounts replaced (both sides). AND rear shocks replaced (both sides) in Apr. '06. ***Computer box replaced (used). AND window switch replaced (drivers side/installed upside down-fully functional). AND glove box replaced-2 new keys. AND front lower control arm. AND wire set ignition coils. AND sparks plugs. ALL 60K ago in Dec. '06. ***Rear window replaced (and still has great visibility) in Apr. '06. ***Add'l receipts that date back to purchase from dealer in Apr. '94. THE BUCKET OR "TO-DO" LIST FOR "NEW" OWNER (or just let some of this "go"): * Some minor cosmetic & other "issues" on interest to "new" buyer/owner: *missing front leftside/drivers' side yellow light marker. *missing leftside bottom/base doortrim strip on drivers' door. *Missing front air-dam bottom trim strip. (ALL of these parts/components can be obtained though dealership or pick/pull yards). * Where the front/top windows meet the top...they DO leak when it comes to rainy season...specifically the front on drivers' side and front on pasengers' side where windows meets front/top door jam-need reseal or new rubber gaskets/door jam/seals to block water from dripping down and in. I usually stock some hand & bath towels to "catch" the drips & rain water. AND occasionally some water/rains leak down from across top seal of the top innerside of the convertible top where roofline meets the front/top/inner windshield-quite minor. * Some crackling on drivers' side seat-but no "breakthoughs" where stuffing or cushion is exposed-mostly superficial (some cosmetic/repairs were made-headrest & back panel). Integrity of the seats remains. No springs "popping" through. And the drivers' side seat does not always heat-up...fuse/short/wiring?...works intermittently. * Some chips and dings on most panels of the car...once again...NO ACCIDENTS!!! Paint & touch-up kit for door dings & bumps where possible. Front grill "chroming" trim has a worn-off or chipped piece (approx. 2" length)-could be painted over. Quite nice for a nearly 20 year old car with 360,000 Miles on it! * Carpets/mats could use a good shampooing to get some of the more "permanent" stains out-floor mats could be replaced. Interior panels could use a good "scrub"-some marks. * Center consol computer to the right of radio: "clock/time/temp (F* & C*)" no longer illuminated or works (fuse?) or just needs a "new" plug-in component. This vehicle is located in Sonoma County/Santa Rosa Area of Northern California about 50 miles North of San Francisco & The Golden Gate Bridge. Local Bay Area Buyer is preferred for local pickup.
