For sale i have a 1994 ford explorer 2dr eddie bauer edition,I bought it abiut 6yrs ago and has served me well,its fully loaded,red/tan,tan interior. THE GOOD:pretty much everything works,I replaced the power steering box 5 yrs ago,touque converter,and trans seals replaced 4 yrs ago,power seats,windows,cruise,lumbar in the seats,and it doesn't look bad,tires are 2 years old,not sure if i'll include them,exhaust replaced 2yrs ago,trailer hitch,4wheel drive works,though when I first bought the truck I had to put in the manual hubs,am/fm cassette (for those of us who still listen to cassettes...lol) with factory amp..no,the speaker tubes are not included. THE BAD:a/c works,but needs charging every week,rocker panels are rotted,its rusting from the inside out like all explorers do from that time period,rad support rusted,needs poss ball joints which I have,front axle u-joints should be replaced,trans doesn't seem to shift out over overdrive when at operating temp,when its cold it shifts fine,needs a windshield,clear coat peeling,typical ford paint,.. THE ENGINE:there is an issue..when you step on the gas,,its bogs down badly to the point where it will almost stall...I thought it might've been a fuel filter..nope..thought the catalytic converter was plugged,so I cut it..that wasnt the problem either..bottom line is that I just dont have the time and the money to have it diagnosed,the truck has never let me down or left me stranded and has done everything ive asked it,and I feel like it still has a lot of good life in it,i've already bought another vehicle so unfortunatly this one needs to go.
