Vehicle Detail

You probably already know why you look at this 1992 model. You have the nice old body style while receiving the new reliable LT1 engine for this year, which is more powerful and has a better fuel economy than the previous ones. The mileage 58653 appears to be correct (there might be a couple more miles, since i still drive it until it is sold). The previous owner is a president of a bank from my neighborhood and had it for more than 10 years. I saw some service records that indicate a correct milage. According to him, he also bought it locally. So the car spend a substantial lifespan -- if not its whole life well-covered in the dry part West Texas. You see that if you look close: no corrosion. You find more high resolution images at http://sociothought.com/informal/corvette/corvette.htm. With these pictures I tried to give the best representation of the car. What I left: You see on one of the photographs, it is running without funny lights (error messages). The only light that lights up sporadically (sorry I did not get this on camera) is the service warning for the tire pressure control system. Honestly, I ignored it. I was very happy with this car, but one toy has to go to make space. What I did not do: I recommend to the new owner to change the "General" tires. You see their conditions on the photos. I did not do put onnew tires since the new owner might have preferences or budget limitations. Check the corvette discussion groups for different opinions about the tires. It is your choice and your money that you want to spend. What I did: I installed a high end stereo system with a the priority to leave the original appearance intact. Actually, I provide the original for anal collectors. I did not sacrifice space for the power amps, but used to mono blocks that I was able to conceal behind the original speaker faceplates in the back. The speakers within the original for speaker cassis were replaced with high end speakers. The head unit is a Sony with Bluetooth and iPod connection and a frontal USB port. This is not a new car and I am a private seller selling the car as is. I do not state or imply any warranty. I am also not responsible for any misprints. I make absolutely clear that if the payment for the car has not cleared within 14 days the car will stay in my property. The PayPal deposit of $500 is nor refundable. I am more than happy to show the car locally at my home in Lubbock Texas to the prospective buyer BEFORE the sale. The buyer is responsible for the shipment. Me (or my wife) will be happy to accommodate the shipper at our home. The title is clear and in my hand. Enjoy the car, Dr. Schneider
