1973 CJ5 Show Jeep, complete frame off restoration. This jeep is in 100% rebuild condition. I spent the last six years taking this jeep apart - every piece, bolt, nut, screw and washer. Every part and piece has been reconditioned or replaced. There is NO rust on this vehicle. The frame is powder coated and the body has been rhino lined under neath and inside. I added a complete custome sterio system for $3,200.00 and it will thump. 95% of the jeep is orginal parts. The only thing not original is the tires, rims and sterio system. I have a complete book of receipts and photos as the restoration took place. The receipts are well over $10,000.00, not to include labor. The engine is an AMC 360 with a 3 speed transmission. The only items under the hood that did not get replaced were the starter and alternator. The engine, transmission, front and rear axle have been complete reconditioned. I spend 11 months a year over seas and this jeep is just sitting up, wasting away. I put it in one show last summer and won the "Best of Show". This jeep has never been wet or subjected to direct sun light. The paint job is so nice that I have not even buffed it out yet. The jeep has been sitting and now the rear main seal has began it drip from sitting over the past few months - that is the only issue I know of. The winch and lights have never been used.
