This is a great project car for someone with the know how to give it some love. Although the car is extremely modified it has been a work horse for me and my wife for 10 years. I am a Honda technician and have put quite a bit of blood, sweat, and time into this car. It has been a daily driven vehicle until a year ago when the bottom end began making bearing noise. The bearing damage was caused by coolant that leaked into the oil while my WONDERFUL wife was driving the car. The two staged fan controller that was installed on the cooling fan defected while my wife was idling in the parking lot as she waited for her office building to open for business. Despite the coolant temp gauge mounted in the in the instrument panel, the engine overheated and blew the head gasket. The cylinder head surface was repaired and head gasket replaced. Sent the cylinder head to the same machinist in south florida that sleeved the block and had the head completely reworked, including stainless steel flat valves and 3 angle valve job. I haven't started the engine since the noise began with the intent of repairing the bearing damage. The transmission is also in need of a 3rd/4th syncro and a shaft bearing due to the increased torque that the engine makes. Being that I have several other modes of transportation, had a new baby, and bought a house since then I haven't had the time to repair it. It's taking up space sitting in the garage, is registered, and therefore has to be insured according to florida law. I've been putting off selling the it for some time because I love the car. Our financial advisor has been urging us to sell it. I'm selling the car as is and starting the bidding at a price much lower than what I would have with an engine in perfect condition. The engine can be repaired, or the turbo, plumbing, exhaust, Hondata system, and other components can be easily modified to fit another engine application. Below I'll list and the installed components and modifications. The Hondata system currently installed is the S200 with boost and datalogging enabled. Will need a good tune after repairs are made. Has a very good base map on the ROM right now.
