Please read all of vehicle description and contact me for any questions prior to bidding. Up for bidding is a 73 2dr Datsun 510 that is very clean and in mostly stock condition. Clear title in hand. Original L16 w/ 3 speed automatic transmission on the floor. A87 head and recently installed 32/36 weber carburator. The milage is unknown since the original instrument cluster has been replaced. It has been recently painted close to the original color. The paint job has a few minor imperfections. I would rate it a 9 out of 10. The 510 has been lowered with coilovers on the front and cut springs in the rear. I relocated the battery to the trunk and removed the battery tray in the engine bay. I insulated the battery cables all the way back to the trunk, routing it through the lower rocker to avoid having it route under the carpet and under rear seat. Makes for a much cleaner look and less chance of kinking the cable. Rear license plate lights have been shaved to allow JDM tail lights. These lights came off of a 4dr deluxe 510 in Japan. The plastic JDM grill is what should go with these tail lights if the new owner decides to keep that look. All interior panels with exception to the door panels and rear panels have been redone including drivers/pass kick panels, panel just behind rear seat, and trunk panel. The dash pad is in great shape as well as the dash overall. The floor boards are also in great shape with minor surface rust as expected. This 510 originated out of Chico California until the owner before me drove it up to the Seattle area. The 73 was the last year in this body style and had a few changes such as fiber optic headlight/wiper blade knobs and rear window defrost to name a few. The white exterior on blue interior was rare for the 510's and makes for a great color combo. The seats were reupolstered by a previous owner. The Bad: The automatic transmission is getting tired and will not engage sometimes when cold. The issue is when shifting into drive, going from 1st to 2nd and reverse. Once it is warmed up well it shifts pretty consistent. I will throw in the manual pedal assembly to do a manual transmission swap to the winning bidder. Also the rear defrost hasn't worked since I have owned it, I never tried to figure out the problem but could be an easy fix. Also after reassembling the front end after paint I didn't label where the wires went to the headlights and blinkers so only one headlight turns on. As of now all the blinkers, tail lights and side marker lights work though. One or two wires are out of place in order to fix the problem. Missing center console. This car comes with no warranty.
