5 years ago I rebuilt the engine it is a 460 with a C6 transmission. I had it bored 30 over crank is 10 under on all journals. has melling cam slightly over stock good for towing. has KB 30 over pistons making the compression ration 10.5 to 1. Runs fine on premium. has now aluminum intake manifold. this truck was from Kansas and is in pretty good shape rust wise for its age. Floor boards are pretty solid bed is solid. this truck was hit by a tractor on a farm in Kansas. I welded on a corner of a bed But am not happy with my work. It really could use a whole Replacement bed side. You can buy them for about 250 bucks plus shipping. Or you could buy the whole Bed I have for sale. If you put that bed on this truck it would be a good improvement. then sell this bed. this truck runs great except the tranny slips a little when you first start out but once it kicks in it is good. Perhaps it needs a new filter. it acts like it is not picking up fluid at first. I have 2500 dollars in the rebuild of this engine. this truck also has 4 new tires and Nice Aluminum rims. has new 4 core stock Radiator Voltage Regulator Alternator Starter and Battery.
