Vehicle Detail
I purchased this van in September of 2003 to pull our 6 x 13 enclosed van for motocross. I believe I am the second owner. We bought this van because of the V-10, 8 passenger configuration that I believe is pretty rare. Most are the longer, 15 passenger vans with the V-10. This engine is so smooth and has so much torque that it doesn't even know that the trailer is hooked on! This van could handle just about any pulling chore; we bought the van because we planned on moving up to a bigger trailer, or even a toy hauler, but never did, so I've decided to sell. We really don't use the trailer that often as my son now has his own truck. Van has never been abused, and has seen regular maintenance and care. This year alone we put new tires on it all the way around, and spent 500 dollars servicing and recharging the air. The van has front and rear heat, but currently only front air. The shop reconfigured the front air and will blow you out it's so cold! (all the way to the back) Details: American Racing alloy wheels (fair to good cond) with new tires front and back V-10 with auto trans with selectable overdrive (van has had two full trans flushes since I've had it) / engine oil changed every 5,000 miles with full synthetic power windows, locks, keyless entry power mirrors (currently not working but pretty sure it's just a dirty switch) am/fm with cd and cassette cruise (controls on steering wheel) quick release bench seats power drivers seat with lumbar control knob K & N air filter Class A receiver hitch van shows normal wear and tear for a 2001 vehicle.......don't expect new, but everything is clean and tidy. original passenger area carpeting was replaced with aftermarket carpet ; very easy to remove and clean. Body in pretty good condition for age.......shines up nicely and has the normal little scratches here and there, nothing major. A couple of dime size bubbles under side doors in paint with a little surface rust under them. Could fix for $100. Rear quarter was recently repaired and painted as I backed into a stage (I'm a DJ) / very nice job and little to no filler used. You can email me with any other questions you may have. Local pickup only; I will meet someone within 75 miles of my home, which covers Cleveland, Pittsburgh or Akron-Canton airports. I paid close to $20,000 for it, and it still runs just like the day I got it. It has had one major tuneup around 60,000 miles even though it didn't really need it. These vans are supposed to run forever. I hate to get rid of it, but I really don't have a need for it right now. If you need to tow a boat, a travel trailer, toy hauler, or just a big trailer, this one ton beauty was made for the task. Plus you can carry 8 people safely and in comfort. Check my feedback and bid with confidence. I represent everything as honestly as I can so that you know what you're bidding on........No junk, nothing to hide, and my customers are not disappointed. If you've been waiting for this type of vehicle, at a reasonable price, then you've found it. Good luck and happy bidding!!
