I have owned this car for about four years. I had planned on restoring it, but never got around to it. It has been sitting in my heated garage the whole time. The straight 8 cylinder engine sounds healthy, and the transmission shifts through the gears, including reverse. It starts, runs and drives good, but it would definitely benefit from a tune up and carburetor rebuild. The exhaust is leaky and noisy. Turn signals, head lights, brake lights and horn are all in working order. The doors open and close nice and solid. The windows all roll up and down with ease. The interior is worn, especially the drivers seat. The wipers and the radio do not work. I believe the original color of the car is black. My guess is that the car was repainted blue 20-30 years ago. The paint looks good in the pictures, but it has faded. It can be waxed for a temporary shine, but will fade again with time. The stainless trim is in good shape. The bumpers have some pitting, dings and some surface rust. All the glass is in good shape with the exception of the right side vent window. The trunk is solid. The floors are solid, but do have a couple of repairs. I don't know how old the tires are, but they are in excellent shape. I have a clear title for the car. The winning bidder should plan on picking up the car on a trailer. I have only driven the car around my neighborhood. For safety's sake, the car should be completely gone through before driving any distances. This is a no reserve auction! The car goes to he highest bidder.
