FOR SALE: 2005 Volkswagon Jetta (MKIV-Old Body Style) GLS, TDI. This is an outstanding vehicle. It was bought new by my Grandparents and sold to me, so it has been in our family from day 1. It has just under 127k miles and still has a lot of life left. It has many new items which include:-NEW Transmission which holds a 1 year/unlimited mile warranty-NEW Upgraded Clutch Kit-NEW All Season Tires (<400 miles)-NEW Glow Plugs Recently Replaced Items Due to Recommended Manufacture Maintenance Schedule Include:-Water Pump Replaced at 110k miles-Timing Belt Replaced at 110k miles-Synthetic Oil and All Fluids according Maintenance Schedule The reason for the new items is because a piece off second gear broke off and ruined the clutch and transmission. It was replaced with a NEW (Not Rebuilt) transmission from GEX International. All labor work was completed by a certified technician at Antrim Diesel in Green Castle, PA. It is diesel, so it is great on fuel. It is 100% fully operational. There are zero flaws mechanically or electrically. It's only flaw is a scratch on the hood. The scratch is pretty shallow as it does not reach the metal. There are pictures of this scratch. I am selling it because I recently earned my degree and bought my first brand new care as a gift to myself. It is completely stock. This really is a great car and is suited for anyone no matter what your looking for: primary vehicle, second or third, commuter car, or your teenagers first car. 127k miles may seem like a lot of miles, but remember, it is diesel. Everyone in my family has diesel Jettas and they have all gotten 275k miles to 334k miles. This says we take care of what we have, which should give you some added confidence as you are looking for a new car. The car has never been smoked in and there are no burn holes. The interior fabric is heated cloth seats. The wheels are alloy, not caps. It the pictures and video, you may notice visor lights in the front and rear windows. I am a paramedic/firefighter and those are emergency lights that are plugged into the cigarette plug and will be removed.
