well I sure no expert on classics, but this 1966 convertible just came my way ,via a women who was in a financial bind. This is what I call a "BARN FRESH" find. It has just sat idle for over 3 years in a carport. This car was running an driving fine when last parked.I am selling this car just as I recieved it. Yes it's covered with dirt, and could use some serious cleaning and detailing. Please see my photos. It's sure not perfect, but I can't imagine finding a nicer 48 year old car like this for the price. The floors, trunk, and body ect. are very solid (not rusty). I believe everything on the car was working as it should, when parked last. Even though the tires may be a few years old- they look new also. I am guessing it will need a new battery, fresh gas ,new fluids etc. I have no doubt that someone more mechanical than myself could have this car up and going again in very short order. I have zero time for the falcon ,and so I am selling it just as you see it.I would much rather you plan for the worst and hope for the best than be disappointed in anyway.Note; In fact a friend of mine was over and jumped it, and it started right up. The engine runs and sounded great. My opening bid is 3,500 with no reserve. If I do not sell it as-is I will have my mechanic get it in good running order, wash it up, and then relst it that way. I only want the buyer to be as excited as I was when I found it. I have a clear and open Colorado title for the car. I honestly do not for see any disappointments. Term of sale I can not ship..... This means I can not crate, box, disassemble, or deliver to a shipping company. I will however be more than happy to assist your shipper, however I can. A $250.00 non-refundable PayPal deposit is due within 48 hours of the auctions end. The balance is due via bank/certified check, or cash in person within 7 days of the auctions end.
