For Auction is a 1967 S Code GT Convertible. Solid running and driving car. This is a nice driver quality Big Block covert that car really be driven and enjoyed. This car was repainted in the mid 80's and the color was changed from the factory Night Mist Blue to a medium metallic blue. The previous owner must have liked some of the 68 options on the interior and the grill....because they were changed. The top was changed to a white top with a plastic back window....the top and window need replaced, the top has some tears where it folds. The 67 grill is gone, but the original fog lights are in the trunk, so not a big deal to change it back. This is a highly optioned car...15 options on the Marti report, and it has a tilt column that has been added. It has the wrong carburetor and air cleaner on it. The power disc brakes work great. Original 9 inch rear end. The interior is showing some age, and will need to be cleaned up or reupholstered. The car drives nice, and it has a couple of rattles that will need to be located. The body is very solid, the car spent a lot of time in California....that really helped preserve the body. The quarters are original to the car, and are only showing some nickle or quarter size blisters in the very bottom corners...see pics. The passenger rear floor has a patch in it that was not down correct, its a small patch, and can be easily fixed. The inner rockers, torque boxes, front and rear frame rails are all nice on this car.
