This vehicle is a 1998 red Chevy C/K 1500 Z71 pick-up with an odometer showing 187,563 miles. However, we have no way of knowing its accuracy. This has a 5.7L 8 cylinder engine with 4 wheel drive. The vehicle has a CD player, power locks, power windows, and a diamond plate tool box. The vehicle has a third door and also comes with vent shade window covers, although the passenger side cover is partially broken. The vehicle has minor scratches and minimal rust. The inside driver's side door handle needs to be replaced and does not work. The tires have after market rims and are worn. The vehicle was started and last driven in August 2011, however, the battery needs to be replaced. The past maintenance and repair history of this vehicle is unknown and it is being sold as is. There is a clear title for this vehicle. This vehicle was seized in an investigation which resulted in the subsequent forfeiture from a DWI arrest in July of 2010. When this vehicle was confiscated, it was being driven on the public streets and mechanically running. The title is free and clear of any liens and is registered to the City of Madelia, ready for new owner transfer. The buyer is responsible for making arrangements for transport or may pick up locally. Payment must be made in person or by a representative within 7 days of the end of the auction. Payment can be made by cash, cashiers check, money order, or credit card.
