1965 FORD MUSTANG FASTBACK 2+2 ORIGINAL CALIFORNIA CAR / OLDER FRAME-OFF RESTORATION Has the Original Mustang 289 V8 & Automatic Transmission 10 Years ago, this car had a frame-off restoration that included: New Paint & Stripes, Complete Interior with Fold Down Rear Seat, Engine, Transmission, Brakes (Front Disc), Exhaust, 4V Carburetor, Suspension, Wiring Harnesses, Window Regulators, Chrome, Mouldings, Rubber, Wheels/Tires, Gas Tank, Radiator... (Photos taken during the restoration and over $12,000 in parts receipts go with the car.) According to the VIN and Vehicle Data Plate, this car is an original C Code 289 V8 with a C4 Automatic Transmission (6) built on 10/22/64 (22K) from the San Jose (Calif) plant and the Los Angeles D.S.O. The original color of this car was Phoenician Yellow (7) with Black Vinyl Interior (26). This Mustang runs and drives well but it could use new paint to make it perfect.
