Here we go; This is a 1999 VW Cabrio, I am selling for a friend. I will try to cover all aspects of the car fairly and honestly, but if you have any questions or are local and want to come see the car, please CALL ME at 248-761-2603. My name is Randy. The car has 210000 miles, but they are mostly highway. This car has been sitting for the past few months, but it was recently given a complete tune up, oil change, and all 4 wheels had new pads put on and new rotors on the rear. It runs and drives very nice. Engine does not knock or tick, or burn or use oil. The A/C is nice and cold. Issues: The power top does not work (motor is weak), but it is easy to put up and down manually. Side mirrors need to be re silvered or replaced. Moulding on Driver side door is missing, 1 wheel cover is missing. Minor exhaust leak. Interior: Tan leather in excellent condition, except 1 tiny burn hole on driver seat bottom, Exterior: There is a rust hole (about the size of a quarter) on one wheel well. Also a couple areas same size of bubbling. Overall the paint is shiny and reflective. There is one area on the hood where some clear coat is flaking. The top is only about 2 years old and is in excellent condition. Kelly Blue Book is $2,025 in Fair, $2,500 in Good, with a little TLC this car would easily be considered good condition. I have hoping to get around $1,500-1,600. I have driven it for about 2 weeks, and it is reliable and a great gas saver. I have tried to cover everything fairly, but if I have not, please call me.
