Vehicle Detail
Up for auction is my wife's 2003 Lincoln LS with the sporty V-6 3.0 in good condition. I will sell to the highest bid. The deal must be completed within 48 hours of auction end, so please do not bid if you cannot do this. I have bought a new car and have no place to keep this one. We drive the car daily and it is very dependable. AC is Ice Cold. Starts right up. Remote locks all work well. Please look over the pictures carefully. I have uploaded high-resolution so you can zoom in. It starts right up and is quiet and comfortable. The following work has just been done for the State inspection: Plugs, Coils, Brakes, EGR System, Oxygen sensor. Known issues (minor only) Needs one valve cover gasket causing minor oil drops, the easy exposed one. The gasket is included with the sale. Tires passed inspection but are fair and close to wear tabs. Finger sized puncture in driver's seat that has been glued and small area paint bubble on trunk (see photos). Cosmetically, people comment on how nice it is all of the time. It is hard to believe that a $5000 car can be seen as that awesome, but I am being honest. One guy heard I was selling it and said it must be worth around $20k, right? Valets also comment on how nice it is. I do think the color really helps. It is beige in general terms, but is more like a metallic cream and looks nice when cleaned up. I am not aware of any dents in the car. The interior is very nice with a fingertip sized puncture in the passenger seat (see photo) that has been glued but otherwise very nice and clean. While there is some wear and minor blemishes on the car, it is quite presentable and good transportation. Maintenance wise, the battery is newer. Oil changed every 5000 miles. I put on new tires 2 years ago, but it could definitely use new fronts. In summary, this is a high-mileage used luxury car that is in nice but used condition. I would be comfortable driving it home and personally just drove it on a 500 mile trip. The new owner will be happy and for the price will be getting a bargain. Title is clear as the loan has been paid off and lien release is attached. Car is ready for you to start driving daily.
