Here are the rules: I will not ship this bike so don't ask. I will not crate this bike so don't ask. I will not deliver it ANYWHERE so don't ask. No PAYPAL so don't ask. CASH ONLY. Up for sale is the last bike in my collection. I have sold six bikes in the last six months. This one is very special. 1972 XL250 with only 57 miles in the last year. This bike was disassembled by a local Honda mechanic and had a sympathetic restoration. Still looks great, but with that old patina that cannot be faked or duplicated. Original paint on tank and fenders. Tank and fenders are in great shape with only minor scratches and minor tank dents/rust as shown in pictures. Aggressive rear tire with great tread and new front tire still with tits (see picture). Original no rip/tear seat with complete tool kit and owners manual still residing underneath. Guages work fine, old kill switch in place of horn button and lights work fine. Starts on third or fourth kick even after sitting for weeks. Runs a little rough if you don't properly let it warm up, but is strong full of torque and will put a smile on your face. Clutch will stick if sits too long so ride it often! This bike is old school cool and will get you back to 1972 FAST! Everyone loves this bike and it draws a crowd. Not insured or titled I just ride it around the farm. I'll even include my original OHIO 1972 motorcycle plate. These bikes are heavy at 300lbs, but built like tanks. This bike will last another 40 years. e-mail me through ebay with questions.
