Vehicle Detail
HISTORY: I have owned the vehicle approximately 10 years. The prior owner had the vehicle stripped and repainted by Duggan Automotive Group, Lawrenceville, Georgia and the vehicle has been garaged ever since. I would not consider the paint to be show quality, however, it is very presentable and the car always draws a crowd. The pictures are an accurate representation of the paint. The engine was a fresh rebuild when I purchased the car and; as I only drive the car 500 or 600 miles annually, I have only put 5,000 to 6,000 miles on the car over the last ten years. ENGINE: The engine is a 351 Windsor (.030 over) with stock heads, crankshaft, rods & pistons. Cam is a mild Lunatti which runs strongs, sounds great and idles smoothly. Ignition is Pertronix and the carb is an Edelbrock Perf 750 cfm topped with the Ford shaker hood scoop. Considerable chrome and aluminum in the engine compartment, howeve, it has not been polished in awhile and could use a good cleaning. TRANSMISSION: The car has a T-5 World Class 5 speed manual transmission with Hurst shifter and original (almost new) T-handle shift knob. The transmission functions perfectly with smooth shifting and no whinning noices. As I replaced the clutch plate when I purchased the vehicle, there is very little wear on the clutch. TIRES & WHEELS: The 15 inch Magnum 500 Wheels are in excellent condition and the BF Goodrich TA Radials have very little wear on them. The brakes are also in excellent condition with Power Assisted Disc brakes up front and drum brakes in the rear. The steering is manual (No Power Assist). SAFETY: After purchasing the vehicle, I had a four point roll bar professionally installed in order to mount front Shoulder Harnesses/Seat Belts. The roll bar does not interfere with passengers entering or exiting the rear seat. INTERIOR: The interior is in excellent condition both front and back. As the prior owner had installed a tach on the cracked dash pad, I installed a new factory reproduction dash pad and relocated the tach to the steering column. The car is also equiped with Custom Auto Sound AM/FM Cassette Player/Radio. Perfect fit with no cutting; in case you want to reinstall stock AM, AM/FM or AM/FM 8 Track THE SELLER: My name is Mike Watson and I live in Hanover, MA. The last time I sold a car on Ebay was in 2001. It was a GMC Sprint SP, the buyer has now owned it 10 years and obviously loves the car. Reason for selling the Mustang; going to buy a newer Mustang, perhaps a Shelby 500. My cell phone number is 781-771-7006. This automobile is well worth the my reserve price and should provide the next owner years of dependable driving. As previously mentioned, it sounds great, performs great and looks great. Be prepared for lots of conversations at the gas pump! AS THE VEHICLE IS 31 YEARS OLD, THE ACTUAL MILEAGE ON THE VEHICLE MAY BE DIFFERENT FROM THE MILEAGE ON THE ODOMETER AND THE VEHICLE IS BEING SOLD "AS IS" WITH NO WARRANTY EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. THE BUYER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR PICKING UP THE VEHICLE OR HAVING IT SHIPPED. THE SELLER WILL CERTAINLY ASSIST THE BUYER AND/OR THE SHIPPPING COMPANY.
