Vehicle Detail
Up for sale is my 1993 Ford Full Size Bronco 4x4 5.0L 302c.i. V-8 E40D Auto transmission Electronic push button shift transfer case with Warn premium manual lockout hubs 3.55 rear axle with limited slip differential 33x12.5R15 Dick Cepek Radial F-C II Tires on 1996 stock alloy rims 3" Body Lift AirLift Airbags installed in front coil springs Skyjacker Dual shock Steering Stabilizer (removed as it interferes with plow frame, but is included) Viper ESP 550 Remote Start and Alarm installed on truck (also operates rear window from remote) Stewart Waner Maximum Performance Gauges on A-Pillar Vacuum, Oil Pressure, Transmission Temperature Class 3 Hitch with Backup Lights Truck runs and drives, but the engine has low compression and has a good amount of blow-by. Engine fires right up but lacks the power that it used to have. The engine has been in this state for about 4 years. I have use it mainly to plow my driveway for the last 3 years when I put the plow on the truck. I have driven it on the road about once a month for the last couple of years. I had the transmission rebuilt about 15,000 miles ago. Front axle has newer Ball joints, U-Joints, steering linkages and brakes with drilled rotors which are all in very good condition. All joints are the greasable type and have been greased every 3000 miles with every oil change. I also replaced the steering gearbox and starter with new ones. The body is in good condition, but is by no means perfect. There are a few issues here and there but it is all there. The wheel wells have been repainted before and are starting to bubble up again. There is some bubbling also near the rocker panels and the tailgate is pretty rusted. Underneath, this truck is solid, no rot. Truck has been undercoated with oil every year that I owned it, and before that the truck was from Virginia. The plow that I put on the truck is a Fisher Pro Plow with a Western conventional mount frame and pump. Plow comes with the truck if the reserve is met. Extra parts included at the Buy it now price only: I had purchased a running 96 bronco for parts (good running but had body damage) and intended on swapping the engine, harness and computer from that truck into this one. I never got around to doing it and I just got a newer truck. If the buyer of this truck is interested I'll sell all the parts I have from this truck for an additional cost (or I will included these at the Buy it Now price). These parts include a complete engine, under hood wiring harness, ECU computer, Mass air intake and factory airbox, radiator, transfer case, complete twin I beam front axle with ford lockout hubs, Y pipe with both catalytic converters, second set of alloy rims with 33" tires (little tread left), overhead console, rear seat, ABS control valve, removable fiberglass top (green), tail lights, passenger head light and running light assembly, ford keyless entry with key fob, 96 steering column (no airbag), brand new ford tailgate window motor, factory Ford chrome grille and bumper with cutouts (both like new). I will also include an aftermarket tailgate shell as well for this truck (needs paint and hardware). All these parts are worth $1500 to $2000. About this auction: If the Reserve is met, you get the truck and the plow If the Reserve is not met, I may consider selling just the truck (minus the plow and frame) If the selling price is at or above the buy it now price of $3750 I will sell everything, truck, plow and all parts from the 96 that I listed above. I encourage you to stop out and look at this vehicle if you are interested. Truck is being sold as-is where it sits. Buyer is responsible for all shipping costs, although I am willing to help with the shipping for a nominal fee. Please contact me if you would like to discuss in more detail. This Bronco was on the road until 7/2011 when the registration expired. I did not re-register it because I just got another truck
