Up for sale is this very nice and clean 1992 FORD MUSTANG LX 5.0L High Output 5 speed Convertible. This belongs to friend and I am listing it on his behalf. This is one of the most fun cars I have had the privilege to drive. it has a powerful V8 engine and a 5 speed manual gear box and sport suspension that gives you complete control and feel of the open road. The car is completely stock, and has never been modified. The original owner who purchased it new in 1992 is the father of the current owner and a very well known Mustang collector. The car was sporadically driven and sat in a garage until 2008 when the current owner inherited due to fathers passing and started driving it. He acquired the vehicle with 36K miles. Since then the car has spent some time in new jersey and New York. The car was rear ended and damaged in 2009 in a collision which was NOT reported. The damage included rear bumper cover, tail lamp (right) and rear quarter. The car has since been repaired and has been in use ever since. The rear quarter damage was straightened and painted. This car has been garaged most of its life, I have service records and receipts of work performed on the vehicle. It runs and drives EXCELLENT. It has absolutely No problems, mechanically sound, suspension is still tight, feels like a 50K miles car should. The car does not leak any fluids, convertible top is fully automatic and works properly, has no rips also does not leak. The power windows, power locks, power mirrors, stereo system work 100%. The brakes are in excellent shape, has good pads, tires are in great shape. I have also a complete schedule of work performed at the dealer, and car-fax, the miles are original!. the interior of the car also has power seats and air assisted cushions. The convertible top has GLASS not plastic, has ABSOLUTELY NO RUST (never driven in winter). This mustang has cobra style rear tail lamps and comes with extra floor mats, carpets and car covers. The air conditioning was serviced last summer and works 100%, heat works great car has good shocks and has no rattles or issues. Call me with questions (845) 987 9267.
