Up for auction is a 1988.5 samurai in really good condition with low original miles. The truck has been repainted but looks good overall, roof paint is faded and there is some rust coming through (see pic's) The truck runs good with no known issues, starts right up on high idle and warms up nice, shifts fine, clutch seems to be just fine, transfer case works as it should, along with the hubs and 4wd light on dash. Everthings works except the interior light above your head, tried changing the bulb but it still will not work. Truck has new tires, battery, windshield and front brakes, also has current Virginia Inspection sticker. The truck has surface rust on the axels, hubs, gas tank skid plate, spring packs, and bumpers. The metal channel under the plastic rocker guards is rusted also. ( it did not go through the body just the channel ) The frame and most of the body is solid, floors and rear cargo area are very clean....The little bit of rust on the truck is around the rear fender on drivers side inside and outside. ( see pic's) Carpet and the headliner are in very good condition, as are the seats, front and rear, drivers head rest vinyl is pulling off a little, seats don't have any rips or tears in them and the foam is still firm... This is a good clean mid year tin top thats hard to find. basically it's bone stock with just a repaint at some point, I did notice that it needs some window felt on one channel of the driver and passenger doors.. I've got three samurai's and need to sell two of them, this is one of the ones that I decided to let go.... Not trying too get rich just want a fair price for a clean stock tin top sami..... I forgot the catilytic converter makes some noise like a rattle, and someone patched the exhaust just before the cat...the rest of the exhaust looks just fine, muffler and tailpipe look fine.... Item is for sale locally so I may end the auction at anytime, I will need a $ 100.00 deposit via Paypal at the end of the auction, the balance can be paid in person with cash.
