1972 Ford Sport Custom shortbed fleetside 1/2 ton truck. Original CA blue plate survivor. Appears to be mostly original paint and all original interior. This truck comes from a very dry California climate and is straight and solid. Has some minimal dings but appears to have never been in any serious accidents or had metal replaced. Original optioned 360 V8 engine and Automatic transmission as well as power steering and power brakes. Runs and drives but has been parked for a number of years and out of daily driver rotation. Engine smokes upon start after sitting. Transmission shifts through all gears but is slow to upshift: If you let off of the gas between shifting it helps. All electrical works as it should: wipers, turn signals, brake lights, reverse lights, interior light, headlights, and even the original radio works. Odometer reads just over 70k miles and is believed to be original but have no documentation to prove this. The way the floor mat, pedals, and interior look it is my best guess that the mileage is original. Interior is all original and in very good condition with minimal wear that you would expect from a vehicle of this age. Paint and body are very respectable: Paint looks good for it's age and the body is straight for a truck of this period. Sale includes a clear California title.
