Vehicle Detail

Hello everyone, Henrik here from GM Truck Center in beautiful downtown Burbank, CA. Keep an eye out for more custom built GM Truck Center vehicles on the History channels Top Gear America series. Now about the truck.. You are looking at pictures of a 100% RUST FREE 1979 4 wheel drive GMC Jimmy, an all original CA truck with the original blue and gold CA plates still on it. This truck has a 400 small block V8 in it and it runs great. The transmission is a turbo 350 3 speed automatic and it also shifts through all the gears perfect. The transfer case is a NP 203 with a part time kit, it also works great. The front axle is a Dana 44 with manual locking hubs and factory disc brakes, it is in good condition. The rear axle is a GM corp. 12 bolt with a posi, it is in good condition. The truck has a 6 inch suspension lift on it, the lift consists of springs all around and shocks. The truck has a set of factory GM aluminum wheels on it with 35 inch all terrain tires, the tires have 25-35% tread left on them. The truck also has a steering brace reinforcement kit welded on the frame for extra strength around the vunerable steering box area. Overall the truck runs and drives good. The exterior of the truck is in fair shape and totally rust free, the paint is fair and there are a couple of spots where some touch paint has been applied. There are dents and dings and scratches throughout some areas but nothing major. The top of the tailgate has a small crack on either side. All the original moldings and factory emblems are in tact and in good shape. The truck has a exterior mounted swing away spare tire / gas can carrier on it, the spare is also a 35 inch all terrain tire and it has a cover on it. The interior is in good condition, the two front seats have been refoamed and repaired and look and feel great, the rear seat is original and it looks good. The headliner is new. We removed all the carpeting and factory insulation to inspect the floors and they look beautiful so we decided to leave the carpet out of it so everyone can see how nice the floors are, the winning bidder will have the option of having us install carpeting in it for an additional $300.00. The yellow stuff on the floors is the old carpet hold down glue. The rear side panel covers are in good shape but there are 6x9 speaker holes in them. The rest of the interior is in what you see condition. The dash pad is original and in great shape, it only has a couple of very minor cracks in it. The truck has no radio or speakers. This is a factory A/C truck, but the compressor and lines have long been removed. I think that should cover everything, if you notice something which I have forgotten to mention or describe feel free to contact me at any time. Our previous feedback speaks for itself so bid with confidance, and again don't hesitate to contact me with any questions or concerns. I hold a clear CA title in hand and the truck has current CA registration. Keep in mind quick and affordable shipping is available to anywhere in the U.S. We will help set it up for you and make it totally painless. I require contact within 24 hours of auctions end. Thanks. Please have your funds ready, I require full payment within 3 working days. Thanks. I would appreciate all bidders with 0 or negative feedback to contact me first before bidding. Thanks.
