This 1962 Pontiac Gran Prix two-door hard top is in process of restoration. Owner is selling it because of too many projects and needs the garage space. Original California car. Body is rust free except area over and behind left rear wheel (see photo). Front fenders & inner fenders are in rust-free condition. Grille(s) and headlight assembly are in very nice condition. Floor pan is rust free. Underneath the car is also rust-free as are the doors. Original color was Starlight Black with a white interior. Car is equipped with power windows, power brakes, and power steering. Front clip is off of car and interior has been removed from car during restoration process. All parts and accessories go with car. Vehicle needs a new windshield - rear window is good. Interior has front bucket seats. Interior needs completely redone (re-upholstered, new head liner, new carpeting) etc. Engine is already installed along with 200 R4 transmission, both completely rebuilt. Engine is 030 over 75 455 Pontiac engine, with a new alternator, Edelbrock carburator, aluminum intake manifold, ram air exhaust manifolds and radiator. Included with vehicle are new wiring harness, and Lokar shifter. Already installed are new front disc brakes, rebuilt rear drums. A new quick steering box from Ames Pontiac has been installed. There are four (4) new Trans Am BF Goodrich radial tires on 15 inch Pontiac Rally wheels, and a new gas tank. Front and rear bumpers are newly re-chromed and still in wrappers - done by Lakeside Plating, Conneaut, Ohio. 1962 Pontiac shop manual goes with vehicle. Located in NW PA.
