Vehicle Detail

1969 Mach 1 with 351 Windsor 4 barrel and FMX automatic. Factory Disc front brakes, new dual exhaust, excellent tires. Car runs and drives excellent. Body is in very good condition. Floors have very little rust. Original interior is also in very good condition. Car is not perfect but could be with a little work. The engine heads were redone a year ago with new valve springs, new hardened valves and hardened valve seats so the car can run safely on unleaded gasoline. I have owned it for about 8 years and have taken it to shows a number of times placing as high as third. I don't have much free time anymore and need to sell the car to someone who with continue to take care of it as I have. I purchased the car from the neighbor of the original owner who purchased it from the original owner. I have not documented the mileage but I have no reason to believe that it is not actual miles as I was told when I purchased it. Powered by eBay Turbo Lister The free listing tool. On Aug-30-11 at 06:10:41 PDT, seller added the following information: I can not get photos of the underside of the car so I will try to describe it the best I can. There is surface rust with just a 3 inch long crack under the left side of the drivers floor. The crack edges are still together and a bead of weld would connect the two edges. The rest of the floor still has some paint and light surface rust. The frame rails are solid with some paint and some light surface rust. The torque boxes are in great shape with some paint and some light surface rust. The trunk floor is very good and solid. The right side trunk pocket is very good and solid. The left side pocket has had a small repair at some time on the front but it was not severely rusted. The drivers door has some body filler from a dent and not rust through. I reglued the door glass and the inside of the door had no rust through that I could see. The paint overall is in good shape with some of it still original and some areas repainted. There are some scratches and wear from the years of use but the car still presents itself well. The car was an occasional driver and maintained as such for most of it's life. It was driven in southern Indiana in Sellersburg near the Kentucky border where it was sold new at Jim Oneal Ford. The car was not driven much in the winter except for the first 3 years so the rust damage is minimal. ----- Original Message -----
