1975 Suzuki Adventurer GT185

Nice original 1975 Suzuki Adventurer GT185. Bike is serviced and tuned for summer, plugs, oil, and filter etc. I belive it has the original tires are still on it. I would recomend replacements in the near future, otherwise it needs nothing to ride and is ready to enjoy. Starts first kick out, or immeditaly with the electric starter. Runs great, sounds killer, and has no problem with lights, motor, clutch or the gear box, no oil leak either. I added new mirrors, and have the old school 1974 Clymers service manual for it. It has a clean tank and nice seat. Brand new headlight assembly improves night riding, a bit larger than stock with a halogen bulb, the factory unit will come with the bike also. No problems with the brakes or leaks from there either. Chrome is in good shape (for 36 years old) with light surface rust on some bolts that would clean up with a little elbow grease here and there. I added the rare optional factory luggage rack I found on e-bay, and it has some light surface rust that would clean up better around the welds but overall a nice straight not bent or damaged unit. R/S side body cover was replaced with one found on e-bay, it was red, but painted a shade or 2 off. My plan was to repaint both covers and install new GT185 stickers (which will come with the bike also), and to paint the tank to new factory red (the tank is faded on top, but may polish up mu8ch nicer if you are good with removing the oxidation from paint or polishing. The R/S of the tank has one small dent under the "SUZ") Mechanically she is good to go and with a nice re-paint and your choice of tires, she would be better than new and quite clean. Pipes are nice, fender chrome is good, seat was recovered but looks correct/vintage and feels great/comfort. Thx for looking, please forward any questions or schedule a time to see it if you like.
