hey everyone... so. this is my baby. i bought this beautiful 1973 camaro about 4 or so years ago. drove and loved her from the day i had set eyes on that silver with black stripes. she originally came from and was born in arizona and lived most all of her life there up until 2 years prior to myself buying her in 2007 when the previous owner saw an add for a clean arizona car and brought her to kalamazoo michigan and restored the car from head to toe. i had her in michigan for about 3 months before i brought her back to california here with me (no, she never saw a snow flake). sadly, these days... i drive my new M3 a lot more than i ever do "Charlize" but sometimes that's how things go. i've taken the car on 300+ mile road trips and i can say without a doubt she's a beast and a long hauler. i figure it's time to let someone else enjoy her as i have over the years and give myself room in the garage for a new build (something else with muscle to it of course). a few details to the car: -engine was rebuilt with 5k miles on the odometer. today it reads around 22k so there's only 17k miles on this engine, she starts up every time and runs like a champ, as i mentioned above; 300+ mile trip (one way!) weren't an issue for this old girl. -i had the transmission rebuilt about 3k miles ago, so it's fresh. real fresh. it also has a nice shift kit installed so the shifts bark nice and hard if you push it. (when the took the tranny down, it was apparent that it was the original and hadn't been touched since 73, so it's rebuild time had come) -put in a set of super40's for the exhaust... it's a great sounding system with an x pipe up towards the shorties i had installed. not too loud to be annoying but has a great sound to it rolling down the street. i'm hoping to find a new owner for this car that will love it as much as i have over the years. she deserves it. if you have any questions, please feel free to email me.
