1971 MGB GT ..One of a kind MGB GT...Introducing the "SPRITZER"...the first british rat rod.. gt hatchback.. puddle jumper.. parts chaser..gas saver..head turner..dont really know what to call it. Actually its a stock 71 MGB GT with only the sheet metal modified. Running gear is stock and original to the car..its the 1800 engine with a standard 4 speed trans .The clock says 62,000 mi, and has a clear Pennsylvania title. The car runs..starts ..stops ..lights work ..horn works sometimes...you know ..a BRITISH SPORTS CAR! All sheet metal modifications were welded using 18 and 20gauge metal . The car isnt finished as of yet , so if your looking for a easy project that you can finish and drive...this could be for you. Body is solid and straight but needs finishing and possibly a clear-coat . Some of the pictures were taken in the rain so you can kind of tell what it would look like with clear coat paint. Floors are original ..theres a small hole in drivers floor ..the rest ..the trunk..etc..is pretty solid. Engine compartment is untidy and needs cleaned and detailed. Single Weber down draft carb. Seats are stock..door panels and carpet are new and custom . Custom shifter ..(has trigger switch) .. Car sits on PIRELLI tires with lots of tread. The car is currently not on the road and I would suggest checking everything out before daily use. Car comes with extra parts, spare tire etc. There are rear speakers , but no radio.The MG is located Waco, by Baylor. Email if you have questions or want more pics..etc CHEERS! I encourage a vehicle inspection in person or by a professional before purchase! Car needs a tune-up...in particular the weber needs to be tuned (i don't know how to correctly adjust this).
