1997 Volkswagen Jetta Jazz Edition with 6 disc CD changer in the trunk. I am the original owner, title in hand. The car has been parked in my garage since February 2009. It is currently registered with the DMV as not operating, the most recent registration expired September 2009. Pulled it out today to take photos and it starts. Not sure if it will hold a charge and it probably needs fluids. The battery may need to be replaced. Before storing it, it ran fine. Fluids should be checked and probably an oil change, radiator service and other fluid levels checked since it hasn't been driven in a couple of years. Some of the features include a sunroof, 6 disc CD changer in the trunk, rims, tinted windows and driver & passenger airbags. Does not come with factory floor mats, mats included are generic. To the best of my knowledge these are the things that need to be fixed, replaced or serviced: Air conditioner did not put out cold air Radiator leaked before storing it Both driver and passenger door locks are broken Windshield (crack can be seen in photo) Backseat cup holder cover (can be seen in photo) Rubber around the windshield is cracked and falling apart (see photo) Metal on drivers side passenger window is damaged and rusting (see photo) Door handles have sun damage on the top (see photo) Paint needs waxing, not sure if the sun has completely damaged the paint job or if it can be fixed (see photos) Upholstery needs to be cleaned Both exterior and interior need a good detailing Feel free to ask any and all questions prior to bidding.
