Beautiful 1979 Honda CBX has Honda accessory Euro Sport Kit (low bars, linkages, rear sets with mounting plates,cables,brake hose, mirrors) Also Hondaline factory fork brace. Works performance custom gas charged rear shocks (the only aftermarket part on the bike). Previous owner rebuilt both master cylinders, added Tims CBX swingarm needle bearing kit and steering head bearings. When I purchased the bike from previous owner on ebay in June of 2004. I took a plane from California to Colorado to pick it up and rode it back, approximately 1,400 miles. The bike ran awesome the entire trip and still does. Since I have owned it, the bike has been stored in my garage and ridden at least 20 miles per start up. This bike is a rider and likes to be ridden. This bike is in awesome condition for being 34 years old. I have put a total of 2,200 miles on it in the seven years that I have owned it. I have kept the battery on a trickle charge, kept Stabil fuel treatment in the tank. I changed the oil 3 times with Motul full syn. The Motor is tight and from what the previous owner tells me, the bike had a well tracked history near Denver Colorado. He said it was garage kept for several years before he purchased it and brought it back to life. All I have done is keep it in a garage, change the oil and ride it regularly. The bike is like stepping back in time, I love to ride and admire it, but as a collector of too many bikes, this is one of two CBX's that I own, it is time to scale down.
