Vehicle Detail
hello, we have for sale a 1971 Barracuda convertible. the car has been in our family since 1983. we are the second owner of the vehicle and if memory serves me correct, we purchased this in Sweetwater, Tennessee. The car was garaged in my step father's garage until 1993, when he passed away. my step father was a tremendous Mopar enthusiast. he had many Chrysler, Plymouths, and Dodge vehicles at the time of his death, and this is the one car that my mother chose to keep. since the time of my step father's death, the car has been dry stored with the basic periodic maintenance done to the car. what you see is what you get, it has not been touched. it has been shown occasionally in local car shows, parades, and other such type events. the vehicle is located in Knoxville, Tennessee, where it could be viewed if you would like to. the engine is the 318, 2 barrel, with a automatic transmission. bucket seats with console. i'm not 100% sure if the spoiler is an original option. i think my step father added this on at some point, but i'm not a hundred percent sure. there is a small crack on the dashboard. the seats are in near perfect condition. the carpet has normal wear. their is some rust around the rear license plate area, with a few body dings on the car. as far as i know, the top and wheels are original. and has no modifications to the engine. this is everything i can tell you about the car, although i'm sure i haven't told you everything you needed to know. i will be more then happy to answer any questions by email or phone about the car. thank you for looking, and your interest.
