Very Rare. U14 model VIN: U14NLA16273 (on left kick panel) This clean, nostalgic machine is available to be your new toy New Clearcoat Paint Body was originally painted red from the factory when new. (Tag on kick panel says J code; Rangoon Red) Has fresh paint, was sprayed inside and out on 8/18/2011. The body was sanded down inside and out and was primed complete with polyester primer- surfacer. The body was block sanded with 400 grit. Paint is red PPG 2 stage with Medallion 2 part catalyzed Urethane Clearcoat (2:1). Color sanded and buffed. PPG code 74198 Areas painted were inside bed floors, dash, inner doors, engine bay, complete exterior. Only a small steel patch in drivers floor was fabricated for an area of rust-through just below the driver pedals in the forward corner. Rockers, tailgate, doors, bed, fenders, quarters did not have any visible rot before paint. White Hardtop Included: Halfcab top in good shape included, white. See photos… (top by itself was 1300.00) Bed has holes drilled in case you would like to add a full hardtop or full soft top (hardtop was previously fitted). Steel bulkhead included. New interior with black bucket seat upholstery (original style bronco buckets) going back in, with new black door interior panels and new upholstery on black dashpad. 3 speed trans, upgraded to Dana 44 front axle, 9 inch rear axle, Dana 20 transfer case (T handle) Has a working factory chrome AM radio installed in dash. Rollbar included, still wrapped in original shipping wrap from Tom’s Bronco V8 ENGINE: Was told the engine is a 302. Have not seen any smoke from engine. Stock 2 barrel carburetor with stock exhaust manifolds. Engine appears to be a rebuilt unit, but not sure of the mileage. Every time I’ve turned the key it has fired up quickly. Drove it around the neighborhood before paint and it ran very well, brakes stopped, steering steered, shifter shifted, didn’t hear any odd noises. Seems to be ok mechanically but is sold as is, 44 years old. Brand new battery this month from Battery Mart Windshield wipers have been upgraded to the electric style. All glass is there and will be reinstalled along with the new black interior and exterior components. Vehicle reassembly is under way and will be completed this week. Adding lenses, trim, new fender flares painted with the same red color, bumpers front and rear. YES, MORE PHOTOS WILL BE ADDED. Tires are 11x15 LTs with a LOT of tread on them. 15” Steel wheels.
