Vehicle Detail

Buy it now, or make your best, reasonable offer. First come, first serve! Up for sale is my 2000 Honda Shadow American Classic Edition 750cc Motorcycle. I'm the 3rd owner of this great bike, and this is also the 3rd season I've owned the bike. I've never had any problems with the motorcycle. Fluids have always been kept up on, chain has always been lubed. I replaced the front brake pads, and they're in great shape. I was going to replace the rear drum pads but the ones that are in there are in great shape. So, along with the bike I will include a brand new set of rear pads. The bike is in excellent running order, cosmetically it's in great shape as well. I wouldn't say that it's cosmetically superb, as it does have a couple minor scratches. It's never been laid down. There is one scratch on the gas tank, which has been touched up as best as possible, and 2 more hairline scratches that were touched up as well. The pictures do not show any of the scratches, they are reasonably hard to photograph. Aside from that, it looks great. This bike has always been stored in the garage with a piece of carpet underneath it, and a cover on it. I use sea foam twice a season to keep the fuel system clean. If I were to keep this bike, I was planning on making it into a bobber. (old school chopper, straight bars no apes) The seat needs to be re-stitched, but has no problems holding a rear on it. I cut the exhaust shorter, which to me sounds better, but you do get a little backfire or popping sound if you downshift at a higher rpm. There is a small slice in the exhaust, but not into the actual exhaust piping. It isn't noticeable unless you put your head at a certain angle and stare. It does not affect the performance in anyway. I was going to put ceramic heat tape around the exhaust if I was going to keep it, but I'll leave that up to the buyer, in case they prefer the chrome look. I've got the left mirror only on the bike, it is legal. Other than that, it's a complete solid bike, I don't get time to ride it these days but would have no problems taking it across the country tomorrow. Highlights: Clean Title in my hands. The motorcycle is in 100% working order. (Lights, signals, horn, brights, brakes, etc.) Cosmetically great shape, minor signs of use. Rear tire has approximately 2k miles on it. Fluids have been kept up on. New rear brake pads included. Motorcycle cover included. More pictures will be taken upon request for seriously interested buyers, A video can be taken of the bike running as well. A $500.00 PayPal non-refundable deposit is due within 24 hours, the rest in cash upon pickup. All sales are final, I have the bike up for sale locally as well, and reserve the right to end this auction at any time. The motorcycle will be sold as-is with no warranty herein implied.
