FOR SALE: 1966 CHEVY SUBURBAN My husband bought this truck in 2005 from a father/son team that were working on it together. They did the bodywork then stopped work on the Chevy only to start another project. My husband got leather bucket seats from a '95 Suburban in place, but not installed. There are also 2 bench seats in back -- I believe they are not bolted down either. Other Points: Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE Motor - 350 Turbo 400 Trans, LOW miles, from a 1977 wrecked van (mileage is 86,496)Does have Power Brakes; work GREAT!Has a late 70’s ¾ ton Chevy Rear EndThe 'father/son' team also rerouted the fuel tank neck/spout from the side of the truck (factory done) to the rear of the vehicle, behind the 'Reverse Light'. (see pics)The air filter you see in the pics, is not correct, nor is it connected. My husbands friend just put it on because he said it looked better with one than without.The fuel gauge does not work; vehicle has about 10 gals. of fuel in it On the drivers side of the vehicle you can see that the paint is starting to peel/flake off. (see pics) Please note that the body is in GOOD condition and there are NO holes!This vehicle has very good bones; just needs some work & TLC! I will admit, I personally don't know alot about this vehicle. My husband & his friend (Tom) drove to pick it up, drove it home, and worked on it together. The truck does run!
