Before you even read this please let me point out that there is no problem with the title as the fine people from Experian say.This is based on the mileage of the car which according to these" experts" reached its mechanical limits at 165000 miles.1982 Mercedes 300 SD Turbo Diesel,228k miles,engine and transmission work well,car does not burn or leak oil,gets appr.30 mpg and has been very reliable.Body and undercarriage are virtually rust free,interior is in good condition for its age,has a tear in the driver seat backrest which is why it has the seatcovers.Paint looks good from 20 feet away as it shows some cracking,but the car all around is still quite presentable.It needs one rear brake caliper and a lower ball joint.I have the parts and will install them if I get $1500 or more.Other then that it would need the electrical connections on the cruise control and blower switch cleaned as they tend to be a bit quirky.Power windows and sunroof work fine.The tachometer and antenna do not.Car is inspected till March of next year.This is a good reliable cheap to run vehicle which needs only minor attention.
