Converted to naked with all OEM parts except for the mirrors (used bar-end style). This includes cables to extend to higher handle bars. 15,596 original kms. I'm selling to make room in garage and to make wife happy. The whole story is this: I got into an accident and cracked the front faring and headlight. The costs difference between new plastic and lights and the used parts to build it into a naked model led me to go the naked route. That and I always liked that "Monster" look. It did turn out to be more work than I thought, but I think the end product is a pretty good looking bike. With the full handlebars instead of the S-model clip-ons it is a much more comfortable ride. Here are the defects in the final product: The front fender is silver. I painted it flat black to match the frame but the paint job is showing a small amount of road wear revealing the lighter colour underneath. It looks really good though. The used OEM handlebar I purchased has a small dent that is barely noticeable and doesn't affect the ride. The signal light connections are all soldered inside the headlight bucket (instead of trying to replace the Suzuki end connectors on the lights. The clutch side handlebar rubber is aftermarket. None of these affect the ride. The bike title is clear. This is not a "salvaged" bike. The VIN continues to identify it as an S model and always will.
