1993 Ford F150 XL 4x4 It has the inline 6 with the E40D auto transmission. The pickup starts and runs well and the trans shifts as it should. The truck was a city fleet truck from White House, TN. It was purchased on Ebay last March by another Ebayer who lives near me. It has been sitting waiting for repairs and upgrades since then. I bought it from this person 2 weeks ago with the intention of getting it ready for resale. We own a truck repair garage, and we specialize in the area of Ford pickups. We utilized spare parts and our experience with this kind of truck to replace or repair what was needed. It is an XL model, but it is now closer to an XLT with the tilt wheel, cloth bench , chrome bumpers and chrome grill. Listed below are most of the improvements and/or repairs made in the last 2 weeks: Hood replaced Front and rear bumpers replaced Vinyl seat replaced with a cloth seat from a 1994 F150 Vinyl floor replaced with carpet Upgraded to chrome grill and headlight bezels Tilt steering column adeed, bushings replaced Replaced bezel for instrument cluster Added F150 and Ford emblems to the tailgate (modeled after 1997 F250/350) Replaced standard wheels with OEM wheels with caps Replaced wiring harness for taillights. (turn signal was not working) Blower motor and resistor replaced New clips in door panels Replaced straps on tailgate Locks in both doors replaced (1 key for ignition and doors) Replaced tailpipe and muffler Other features: The A/C works well The 4x4 works as it should Both fuel tanks are working All glass is in very good condition The bed interior is in very good condition The interior is very clean There are not any cracks in the dash pad 3.08 gearing There is some rust over each wheel well on the bed (see pictures). There are a few remaining issues with the truck: It needs an alignment (Steering wheel is not straight) The blend door function for the heater/AC only blows out the defrost vents. The interior cab light stays on (bulb has been removed) Overall, this is a solid truck. The dependable inline 6 engine is quiet with no exhaust leaks. The truck is almost 19 years old, and certainly may have other needs that may arise with use. The truck is only being made available here on Ebay.
