Fiat 1981 Limited Edition Fiat Spider 2000 #087 PARTS CAR Actual VIN # 124CSO*ZFAAS00B2B8 179623 This Limited Edition Fiat Spider 2000 denotes the 50th Anniversary of Pininfarina, the coach builder. Only 1000 examples were produced by Pininfarina in 1981 to keep this sports car exclusivity. Each anniversary model was numbered and this is #087. A special plate on the dash and two outside behind the door shows the individual number (see photo). We saved this special Fiat Spider from the crusher years ago. It has lived in our temperature controlled warehouse for the past 15 years. This Anniversary Edition PARTS car has a good body with very little rust and many good parts such as bumpers; body panels; all lights; (4) special 14" alloy wheels original to L.E. models only; all glass; door handles; A.C. and chrome. The best part is the body, which could be restored, and we have all three (3) of the special numbered emblems. Bad stuff: the engine has a hole in the block; transmission does not shift well; bad pinion gear in the differential; bad outer paint; and the interior is tattered. This is why we are selling as a PARTS car. This car is too good and too special to scrap for metal. Do you have an engine, transmission and differential to replace these?
