Vehicle Detail

Hi I'm selling my 1979 ford f150, the reason I'm selling is because I work alot of long hours and I just dont have time to drive it anymore. I bought the truck 6 years ago from an auto body repair man, who repainted the truck isuzu sunburst red. He also built the diamond plate bed which is still in nice shape. Origionally it had a 351m motor in it, and after a few years of driving it mainly just commuting to and from work i could tell it was just tired out. So I decided to swap a new motor into it, I bought the 466 big block from someone had the motor professionally completely rebuilt with high performance parts from an engine builder in central PA (which I have the build sheet for cost about $3300). I will list the parts installed in it below, when i bought it it had never been installed in a car since rebuilt. I know this because it was a short block and still had packing grease on it. The only thing the motor needed was a carb, pulleys, and accessories(little bolt ons). I must say that I DON'T do my own in depth work, i leave professional work to professionals. So I decided since its getting a rebuilt motor it should have a rebuilt trans which has kevlar bands and clutches, manual shift kit, and ATI converter. One thing leads to another and i ended up having the transfer case and rear rebuilt ALL professionally done and I have the recipts to prove it. What I did do is install the main components in the truck, I wasn't going to but and mechanic friend of mine was really excited to see it all together and generously offered to help me put it all together so we did. After the truck was all built using top quality parts I was left with a total bill of $8500 or so on just the swap. Since it was finished i put at most 2000 miles and I'm rounding up on that figure. I ended up not driving the truck much and it sat for the next two years, starting it occasionally to keep the oil moving. During that time the body got a little rusty, which i did my best to take pictures of besides that the frame is in really nice shape, it was undercoated before I bought it and it seems to be holding up great, the bed is in nice shape and built with really thick steel. The truck runs and drives great, it does have a full spool in the rear so it doesn't corner very well but not bad, the tires are low on tread and are worn a little funny because of the spooled rear which is to be expected. The brake pedal is soft but it stops the truck ok. I'm going to be forgetting alot im sure, since I rarely drive it so please feel free to ask questions. I do have the title in hand and accept cash only. As with any used vehicle it is for sale in As Is condition, I accept Cash only for the truck. I do have a low reserve on the truck so Happy bidding! One last thing i'd be happy to post pictures of anything you may like to see and anyone is more than welcome to come see the truck and take it for a test drive. Here is a list of the upgrades the truck has, im going to forget some so check the pictures 466 ci motor with almost all arp hardware, rocker studs, ect. inside and out balanced forged pistons Edelbrock performer rpm intake High volume oil pump canton racing oil pan extra capacity Holley 770cfm truck avenger carb tuned and jetted L&L fenderwell exit headers L&L aluminum pulleys L&L swap brackets for Power steering pump L&L motor mounts high output alternator High output waterpump Aluminum Radiator Flex a lite fan Upgraded stock powersteering pump-rare Power steering pump pulley sand blasted and electroless nickel plated dual 44 series flow master exhaust 3" true dual exhaust exits in front of rear wheels Biggest trans cooler I could get my hands on with prebent stainless steel lines 3 Auto meter Gauges for- Temp, oilpressure, and voltage 110 gph fuel pump- Holley As listed above rebuilt c6 transmission with kevlar bands, clutches, manual shift kit, ATI converter and Rebuilt NP205 transfer case and 9" ford rear. - 4inch stock rear blocks were removed along with stock springs and used f250 springs were installed so it rides at the same heighth but with out blocks
