Vehicle Detail
1985 honda v65 sabre very rare garage find! 11017 original miles. SUPER RARE hondaline original matching front fairing with fairing lowers! (owner took off years ago and misplaced hardware but harware specs can be found online) also has K&G sliding drivers and passengers backrest with 6 pack rack. Has not been on the road since 2002, will need carbs cleaned and tank appears to have some rust. bike is 100% complete. bought from first and only owner. original "A" paperwork in hand. starts runs and shifts through gears, NO second gear issues found. no rips in seat or dents in tank. All gauges and electronics work as they should right down to the clock. fairing is missing left pocket lid and has small crack on lower right side. (please see pics). never dropped, but owner did say it fell over in garage once. Have both original honda keys with fairing pocket keys. dont miss this opportunity to own a very rare 80's sportbike. very low reserve. (please dont ask). If you have less than 10 feedback contact me before bidding please. Also do NOT bid in the last second if you have less than 10 feedback without contacting me. I WILL cancel your bid and relist immediately. this is due to a non-paying bidder who jerked me around for almost 2 months after bidding. Ask any questions and if any other pics are wanted please ask. thanks for looking!! On Jun-09-11 at 03:29:54 PDT, seller added the following information: The Bike is for sale locally, I reserve the right to end the auction at anytime. thanks for looking! On Aug-16-11 at 20:12:54 PDT, seller added the following information: Please note. as i put in the ad the bike hasnt been on the road for 9 years. It does start and idle with no funny noises and shifts through all gears. but when choke is turned off or too much throttle is givin it wants to stall. hence the statement that the carbs needs to be looked at. bike will need to be trailered til carbs are looked at as I am sure the next owner would like to check over bike and fluids as I would before trying to ride a bike thats been parked for almost 10 years. thanks to everyone for looking and all of your question!
