Vehicle Detail

1935 Ford 5 Window Coupe All Steel Body & Fenders Daily Driver Street rod Up for sale is my 1935 Ford Coupe. If I had more room to keep my toys I would not let it go as it is fun to drive. This is a real 35, not a kit car. Titled as a 1935 Ford. This 35 Ford has a 1968 Nova front clip with Fat Man Brand narrowed tubular "A" arms, Drop Spindles and Malibu front disc brakes. These parts along with the power steering make it smooth and easy to drive. The rear differential is out of a 1957 Ford Station Wagon with the big axle bearings, 350;1 gear ratio and 11 inch drum brakes. It has a dual chamber master cylinder with a GM power booster under the floor. A lot of work has gone into getting the stance and the ride of the car. The power plant is a 30 over 1968 Chevy High performance block, with a healthy street cam(great sound and performance), double valve springs, moderate head work and topped of with a dual 4 barrel Offenhouser aluminum intake with dual Edelbrock carbs. It also has a Petronics breaker-less unit in the distributor so no points to deal with, Taylor 8mm wires with wire separators, billet water pump and crank pulleys and a high torque gear reduction starter. This is a tight powerful motor that has no problem getting the rpm's up and getting this coupe going. Custom aluminum valve covers look great as you walk by the car.The exhaust starts from the motor with Headman brand tight headers, then 2 1/2 inch aluminized pipe with flow master mufflers give this car a great sound. It is not overly loud but strong sounding. Following up the 327 is a just rebuilt 700R4 overdrive transmission with a shift kit and small stall converter. Drive line has been professionally balanced. Optima Red top battery The gas tank is a new composite tank so it will not rust or puncture. The inside of the coupe has a tilt column, Bucket seats and SW Gauges. When we put in the 700R4 transmission we upgraded the shifter to a LoCar floor mounted shifter with lock out. At that time we also put down EastWood's version of Dynamat on the floor and up the firewall. Makes it very nice inside the cab running up and down the freeway. Carpet and door panels show some wear, they were like that when we bought it. We honestly just drive it all the time and have not wanted to take it off the road to redo any of the inside parts. The body is a rust free as I think you will find on a 35. I have been under, over and around this car many times and have not seen any signs of rust at all. The body is pretty much ready for some sanding and a new coat of paint. I do also have the sides for the hood, they are included in the sale price. I just would rather have the motor showing than covered up. Polished aluminum wheels with 205/60/15 radials up front and 275/60/15 Radials in the back This is a car you could get in and drive it across the country. I drive it almost every day Glass blue dots in the tail lights I do have a custom shop that can paint the car for the buyer if they choose before it is transported home. They do nice work at an affordable price. Here are a few youtube links so you can hear and see the car running and driving. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QKlTPRgxi_w http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SlLfGFMdEM0 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BLVkYWNnsJM if you have any questions feel free to ask $500 dollar deposit due with in 24 hours of sales end. Balance to be paid with in 7 days of sales end. Time to inspect the car is before the sale ends, not after. I live an hour south of the Portland Oregon Airport. I would be more than happy to meet anyone out there that want to check the car before bidding. Car needs to be pick up with in 30 days of sales end. If you want to drive it home I can meet you at the air port if that would help. On Aug-14-11 at 17:30:49 PDT, seller added the following information: I have been asked a few times so I thought I would add a few things here. Yes it has a clear Oregon State title. It is registered in Oregon. It is titled as a 1935 ford coupe. This is not a kit car or anything of that nature. I will be adding pictures of the bottom side Monday August 15th when I have a chance to put it up in the air on the lift. On Aug-15-11 at 16:50:14 PDT, seller added the following information: I just loaded a few pictures of under the car. I could not upload all of them as ebay will only let me have 24 pictures. If you would like more emailed to you feel free to send me your email address and I will forward you them. Also wanted to note that it also has a rear sway bar.
