HERE IS AN AWSOME CUSTOM TRUCK. THIS HAS BEEN MY PERSONAL CRUISER FOR THE LAST 15 YEARS. I AM STARTING A BUSINESS AND NEED THE ROOM AND THE MONEY. WILL POST MORE DETAILS VERY SOON...........On Aug-06-11 at 16:17:21 PDT, seller added the following information: THE FRONT CLIP IS A REAR STEER 74 NOVA CLIP. ALOT OF CARE WAS TAKEN HERE SO THAT THE FRAME WOULD TRANSITION NICELY INTO THE CLIP. IT HAS BEEN WELDED AND GROUND AND FILLED WITH FILLER. IT HAS NO STRESS CRACKS AT ALL AND LOOKS LIKE A FACTORY FRAME. IT HAS A POWERSTEERING RACK AND PINION FROM UNISTEER CORPORATION. IT HAS AN OVER SIZED STABILIZER FROM HELWIG CORPORATION. THE BALL JOINTS, TIE RODS, CENTERLINK, AND IDLER ARM WERE ALL REPLACED IN 1998. THEY HAVE APROX 30K MILES ON THEM. IT ALSO HAS 11'' CROSSDRILLED AND SLOTTED ROTORS NEW IN 2010. THE AIR RIDE TECHNOLOGIES SHOCK WAVES WERE INSTALLED IN 2010 AS WELL. THE UPPER AND LOWER CONTROL ARMS HAVE BEEN POWDERCOATED. IT ALSO HAS FIERO MASTER CYLINDER AND PROPORTIONING VALVE. THE REAR SUSPENSION CONSISTS OF A 77 TRANS AM 10 BOLT. IT DOES HAVE A CORVETTE DISC BRAKE CONVERSION DONE TO IT. THE E-BRAKE IS NOT CONNECTED. IT ALSO HAS AN AIR RIDE TECHNOLOGIES HEAVY DUTY 4 LINK WITH AIR BAGS AS WELL....INSTALLED 2002(?). THE PANARD BAR IS BULLET PROOF AS IT HAD COME LOOSE TWICE AT THE SAME SHOW ONE YEAR APART. IT WAS UPGRADED IN 2004. IT HAS A 16 GALLON CUSTOM FIT FUEL CELL THAT SITS BETWEEN THE REAR FRAME RAILS. THE ENGINE IS A 1972-3 350. IT HAS BEEN BORED .040 OVER. KEITH BLACK FLAT TOP PISTONS. DART IRON EAGLE HEADS WITH ALL THE TRICKS DONE TO THEM. THE CRANK IS FORGED GM AND RODS ARE THE OLD ''PINK''RODS ALSO FROM GM. IT HAS AN EDLEBROCK AIR GAP INTAKE WITH 650 EDLEBROCK CARB WITH A FUEL PRESSURE REGULATOR INSTALLED. THE DISTRIBUTOR WAS NEW FROM SUMMIT IN 2002. COMP CAMS HYDRALIC CAM AND I AM NOT SURE OF THE GRIND BUT I CAN TELL YOU THIS.....IT MAKES ALOT OF POWER AND IS STILL STREETABLE KNOCKING DOWN 14-16 MPG EASILY. THE TRANSMISSION IS EARLY TO MID 70'S 350 TURBO WITH A SHIFT KIT AND SOME TWEAKING DONE AS WELL. I HAD THE TRANS BUILT IN 1990 AND IT WAS IN A CAR I BUILT BACK THEN SO I REALLY DONT REMEMBER WHAT ALL THE GUY DONE TO IT....SHIFTS FIRM AND QUICKLY. 2400 STALL CONVERTER BY B&M WITH A B&M QUICK SILVER SHIFTER AS WELL. IT HAS A DAKOTA DIGITAL DASH. IT HAS AN IDIDIT BRUSHED ALUMINUM TILT COLUMN WITH HIGH/LOW DIMMER. THE STEERING WHEEL IS FROM WELD RACING AND THE LEATHER WRAP HAS SEEN SOME MILES SO IT NEEDS DIED OR REPLACED. THERE ARE NO HORNS HOOKED UP. PIONEER CAR STEREO HAS AM/FM/CD WITH COMPONENT 6.5'' AND 1'' TWEETERS BOTH IN THE KICK PANEL....PLENTY OF SOUND FOR A P/U CAB. THE CLOCK IN IT DOESN'T WORK BUT RADIO AND CD WORKS AWESOME. DAKOTA DIGITAL HIDDEN ANTENA SITS IN THE REAR WINDOW. BRUSHED ALUMINUM DOOR HANDLES AND WINDOW CRANKS AND ARM RESTS. THE SEAT IS FROM 1993 FORD F-150. THE OVERHEAD CONSOLE IS FROM 1993 DODGE CARAVAN. IT HAS A 21 CIRCUIT E-Z WIRING HARNESS TRU-OUT THE TRUCK. THE ENTIRE CUSTOM INTERIOR IS GREY TWEED AND IS IN GREAT SHAPE FOR BEING 14 YEARS OLD. DAKOTA DIGITAL AIR RIDE CONSOLE WITH RIDE PRO VALVES WITH A 3 GALLON TANK AND (?)THOMAS COMPRESSOR. BATTERY MOUNTED IN THE BED WITH BATTERY BOX. THERE IS NO AXLE COVER.........BEEN HAVING TOO MUCH FUN SHOWING IT OFF !!! THE TILT FRONT DOGHOUSE IS FROM FAIRLANE CORP. IT DOES HAVE DUAL ELECTRIC SCREW MOTORS THAT TILT THE FRONT END FORWARD AND CONTROLLED FROM DRIVERS SEAT. THE RUNNING BOARDS ARE FROM FAIRLANE. THE REAR FENDERS ARE 4'' WIDER THAN STOCK AND ALSO FROM FAIRLANE. I HAVE EXTRA FIBERGLASS PIECES FOR THE REAR SECTION OF THE FRONT FENDERS WHERE THEY MEET THE RUNNING BOARDS AND CAB AREA......ROAD KILL REMOVED PASS SIDE FOR ME AND HAVE NOT HAD THE TIME TO REPLACE IT. I WAS PLANNING ON CUTTING THE TILT FRONT END AT A DIF'T PLACE TO MAKE THE ENGINE BAY MORE ACCESSIBLE. THE ENTIRE BED IS A DENNIS CARPENTER PRODUCTION (USES ORIGINAL FORD MOLDS) AND THAT WAS NEW IN 1995. IT DOES HAVE ORIGINAL OAK PLANKS ALSO NEW IN 1995. THE BODY IS STARTING TO SHOW ITS AGE AND ITS ROAD WORTHY ATTITUDE. THIS TRUCK HAS BEEN ON MANY MANY CAR CRAFT ''AMERICRUISE'' ROD RUNS. IT GETS DRIVEN EVRYWHERE.......EVEN IN THE RAIN...........(OOOOHHHHH !!!) THE DAMAGE POINTED OUT ON THE FRONT LEFT FENDER LIP IS VERY MINOR BUT WILL NEED SOME ATTENTION. THE DAMAGE ON THE LEFT REAR FENDER IS THE SAME....GONNA NEED A SMALL AMOUNT OF ATTENTION. THE CAB CORNERS AND ROCKERS AT THE CAB CORNERS ARE STARTING TO GIVE UP A GOOD FIGHT. THE PARTS ARE AVAILABLE FOR APPROX $200-250. THE ROOF WHERE IT WAS CHOPPED AND SECTIONED TOGETHER IS STARTING TO BUBBLE. PICTURES WONT SHOW IT BUT I WOULDN'T WANT TO BE LIED TO, SO I WON'T LIE TO BIDDERS/BUYERS. IT HAS DINGS AND CHIPS ON TYPICAL HIGH EXPOSER AREAS......AND THIS TRUCK HAS EARNED EVERY ONE OF THEM. IT HAS ONLY BEEN ON A TRAILER ONCE IN 15 YEARS AND THAT WAS WHEN THE U JOINT GAVE OUT. IF YOU WANT A DEPENDABLE ROAD PROVEN TRUCK......THIS IS THE ONE !!!!!!! On Aug-07-11 at 13:21:48 PDT, seller added the following information: THE WHEELS AND TIRES ARE LESS THAN A YEAR OLD AND HAVE 2K MILES ON THEM. THEY ARE BOSS 338 18X8 FRONT AND 20X10 REAR. THERE IS A WHEEL SPACER/ADAPTER ON THE REAR SO THEY WILL SET MORE OUTWORD TO FILL WHEEL WELL. THERE IS WIPER HOLES BUT THERE IS NO MECHANICALS FOR THE WIPERS. COWL VENT STILL OPERATIONAL. THERE IS A CRACK IN THE FRONT GLASS.......I COMPLETELY FORGOT ABOUT IT......I DO APOLOGIZE FOR THAT. THE CRACK IS ON THE PASS SIDE AND I REALLY ONLY NOTICE IT WHEN I CLEAN THE WINDSHIELD. THE DOOR SIDE GLASS IS ACRYLIC AND IN MY OPINION NEEDS REPLACED. THE GLASS SHOP TOLD ME THIS IS THE WAY TO GO.........NOT !!! IT IS FLAT GLASS AND IS VERY CHEAP TO REPLACE. I ALWAYS HAVE THE WINDOWS DOWN AND DONT PAY ANY ATTENTION TO THEM. THERE IS NO AIR CONDITIONING OR HEAT BUT THERE IS PLENT OF ROOM TO ADD IT IF YOU CHOOSE. I CANT STRESS ENOUGH HOW DEPENDABLE THIS TRUCK IS. I KNOW IT HAS SOME FLAWS BUT LOOK AROUND ON EBAY AND YOU WILL SEE WHAT PERFECT TRUCKS ARE SELLING FOR.........PUT SOME CASH IN THIS ONE AND IT WILL BE AS GOOD OR BETTER THAN ONES SELLING FOR TWICE THE RESERVE !!!!!!!!!!
