2000 Jetta VR6 w/ 85k miles, black w/ tan leather interior. Features: • Heated leather front seats • Sunroof • Cruise control • Cd/mp3 player • Power windows • Power locks • A/c aftermarket parts include: •2" lowering kit •front sway bar •taillights •eyebrows on headlights •clear marker & side lights •18" wheels •spoiler •Greddy exhaust (sounds great on VR6, don't get that weed whacker sound like you do w/ the four cylinders) • head unit (built in amp, sounds great. loud! have sub and amp but will be keeping those. I will leave the wiring for an easy plug and go install if you want to add a sub) • stubby antenna • aftermarket front grille I am the second owner of this car. I bought it in 03 w/ 30k miles. It was burning oil when I bought it, but after several tries to fix it they ended up replacing the engine w/ a brand new one, so the new engine actually only has 55k miles on it I put a brand new clutch in about 20k miles ago New alternator 5k miles ago I have done all maintenance regularly. car starts right up, and runs very smoothly. I am a non smoker. the interior of the car is also in good condition. exterior has no dents. paint is good except for the usual scratches expected in a ten yr old car. I am selling because I am buying a new car. I have had this one for 8 yrs and it's just that time. these are all the issues i know about with this car the check engine light is on. I just had the entire car inspected, and all maintenance done when I had the alternator replaced. mechanic said everything looked really good except the engine light was because of a bad sensor. he reset the code and it stayed off for awhile, but is back on now. it does not affect the car but may need to be replaced to pass inspection. three of the tires are bad and will need to be replaced $120.00 ea the key is broken. it is a flip style key. the key part is there but the electrical part that controls alarm/doors is missing. it is about $150.00 to replace plastic hinge broke on the glove box. looks fine when its closed. im sure is cheap if you would like to have it fixed. chip on the window. its been there for four years and has not spread. they can be repaired for about $100.00 wheels/rims are scratched from curbs. not that noticeable unless your looking for it. my original reserve price was $5,500, but I am taking off $500.00 to fix these issues. overall the car does run very well and has many more miles/years left
