I'm reluctantly selling my 2004 VTX 1300 c Honda. It's in near perfect condition with only 16,700 miles, and just had it's 16,000 mile service which includes: changing all fluids, (coolant, oil, brake fluid and shaft oil), new plugs, new filters, adjustment of exhaust valves and fuel line inspection, cleaning of crankcase breather, brake pad inspection, lights, clutch, suspension, check nuts, bolts and fasteners, wheels/tires, steering and head bearings. They also replaced the horn and the radiator reserve tank; the horn because I damaged it mounting the new hi-way bars, and the reserve tank was cracked (not yet leaking but cracked) from some hi-way debris of some sort. Also, I just replaced the battery. The bad stuff: The right saddlebag has some heat damage from the exhaust. I put some heavy items in it for a trip and it got too close to the exhaust and warped the inside a bit. It's only visible from the inside and still usable, so I just left it. New identical bags are only $155.00 at a local dealer. That's cheap for leather saddle-bags. So if you want new ones, I'll give you the local dealers address. Personal notes: This bike is loud and fast. It has aftermarket pipes that set off car alarms, so if loud is not your thing this might not be the bike for you or you'll have to replace the pipes. I like loud: Loud equals safe. The bike walks away from Road Kings off the line (because of the shaft drive) and rides with them on the open hi-way. I'm not a speed demon, but I've opened it up and it'll go as fast as you need. Inspection: I live in Upland, CA 91786 and if you want to come see the bike, just send me an email. It was always garage kept except for the times I used the cover when the garage is full--like now. Also has new chrome hi-way bars and foot pegs, a Mustang seat, and custom grips.
