1956 GMC NAPCO 4X4 3/4 Ton Gear Vendors Overdrive Early '56 when the serial numbers were still stamped into the axel housings. Origonal Pontiac 316 V8 engine with 4 speed transmission. This truck is also equipt with a Gear Vendors Overdrive. So techniquly you can split every gear to make it an eight speed, but its most common to use at only over drive gear by splitting 4th gear. I sold a guy some things and took this truck on trade. I do not know a whole lot about it. I do know that the truck was competly restored and that it was documented very well. As you can see in the pictures I have shop manuals and manuals on the gear vendors. Complete list of parts that were purchased in restore as well as pictures of truck before it was restored. I have the paint codes for the matalic blue it is currently painted. There is a bag full the card board box ends with part numbers from all the seals, gaskets, and barrings replaced. This is a very solid truck and must be viewed in person to fully appriciate. Pictures do NOT do it justice. Tires are in like new condition. The miles are origonal. Truck starts easy and runs great!
