Vehicle Detail

Hello everyone! Up for auction is one from my private collection. I found this in a storage unit out here in Arizona. I was told it was parked there quite a few years earlier by the original owner who has passed on and the kids abandoned it. I have gone through the car and addressed all mechanical issues to make it safe for wifey to drive. I also went through and freshened up the interior which only needed seat covers and a carpet kit. She thought it was cute but drives a Cadillac CTS-V and a 73 Trans Am so needless to say she never used it. I feel it will better serve one of you enthusiasts and deserves to be driven. I can totally see this car cruising down a country road in autumn somewhere in Connecticut. I digress... 1969 MG Midget California edition with 54,187 original miles!, Retains all original smog equipment, I removed the smog belt so not to abuse the pump but it works and spins perfectly fine. Plus the extra 5 hp would help impress wifey. Original yellow paint and it shows well. No signs of any accidents or major issues. Of course no rust anywhere, the beauty of the southwest. Runs, drives and stops as it should. Refurbishments: (NEW) oil change, spark plugs, tune up, hoses, belt, valve cover gasket, heater core, battery, tires, all gear oils, antifreeze, brake master, clutch master, clutch slave, all flex lines, front brake rotors and bearings, front brake pads, rear shoes and cylinders, leaf springs, tires, seat covers, full carpet kit, shift boot, and misc other safety and dress up items. These were all deferred maintenance issues and what you would expect to do on a used car after sitting for a while in storage. Of course I fogged the motor and got oil pressure up before starting. This thing fired up like it was shut off yesterday. Most of the items I did just so wifey was safe, comfy and the car reliable. Like I said earlier this is from my collection and not a flipper. The only thing this car needs is a new top, I skipped that as this is ARIZONA and it will never be up. It does come with the snap on cover which is in great shape. I also have the headrests, I opted not to install them as I think it looks better without. If originality is your bag they are included and easily installed. Feel free to email any questions you may have. I have a good shipping company I use and can help connect the winner for best shipping service and prices. I have a free clear title notarized and ready for the winning bidder. Good luck and thanks for looking. These older MG's are getting hard to come by this clean and complete, don't pass this up.
