This is an unrestored 1969 Pontiac Firebird, The car has its original 350 V8, turbo 400 transmission and 10 bolt rear. The car has not been restored or repainted. The car has a special order paint, Code 72 Hugger Orange. There is no rust whatsoever on the car. The car was originally sold in California and was used by its original female owner for 18-20 years as an everyday driver. It was then sold to a fellow who is now a nationally known Corvette restorer who was in College at the time in Calif. There are receipts and documents recording all repairs, maintenence and owners from day one (3 owners) The car was brought to New York in the 90's and has been a nice weather only car since. The car has always been garaged and it shows. The only changes from stock are.. disc brakes, a factory 1969 pontiac 4 bbl intake and carb,the rear spoiler and the Firebird 400 hood. The hood was painted and installed in 1989 using a rust free original hood and the paint matches perfectly. The interior is in excellent original condition, dash and headliner are mint.No tears or burns in the upholstery. The paint is still in very good condition, keep in mind it is 42 years old and does have some dings and scratches, and a small dent in the left front fender.. The trunk, floors and complete underbody are clean clean clean. The trunk floor has lite surface rust only, it has never been repainted or even detailed, very easy clean up if desired. There is an original spare tire, jack, trunk mat and tire cover that were removed for the pictures The car runs and drives excellent, the front end has been rebuilt and is very tight. Front disc brakes stop straight and true. The car has A/C, P/S, P/drivers seat (not working), P/disc brakes. This is not a trailer queen, but how often do you find original paint cars these days, especially rust free ones.
